One to One Tuition

Your one-to-one musical tuition starts here. Complete your registration in 5 easy steps:

  • Choose your instrument:
    Choose the instrument you wish to learn and select Continue.
    If you cannot see your instrument click Show More.

  • Select a time slot:
    Ensure it’s in the location you would like to have your lesson at.
    The date you select will be your start date.
    You will have 15 lessons in semester one.
    Once you are happy with your selection click Next.
  • Fill out your details:
    Under ‘Student Type’ if you are an adult student select Adult, if you are registering for a child or on behalf of someone select Child.
    Once the form is complete select Sign Up.
    If you have an existing account with us, please use the same email address you’ve used with us before.
  • Enter your card information:
    For one-to-one lessons, you will be charged €330 per semester.

    After entering your card details, click Next where you will see your lesson summary, and the breakdown of costs.
    Once you’re happy to proceed click Confirm.

  • Booked!
    Once your payment is processed you will receive an email confirmation and you’re all set to start you lessons in September!

Additional lessons: If you wish to book more than one lesson, you will need to repeat this process.

Junior Group Lessons

Our selection of junior group classes aim to introduce young children to the world of music.  Here’s how to secure your place in one of our group lessons!     Little Rockers: €150
    Cara Pre-Instrumental & Starter Programmes: €200
    Each group lesson is 45 minutes.

  • Select a time slot:

Sensory & Special Needs Tuition: One to one lessons for students who may require additional support. There will be two tutors present for these lessons.

We have introduced tuition for homeschoolers at Rockwell Music Academy – one to one lessons for students who are homeschooled, offering convenient earlier lessons.

Learn more about our Classes

Little Rockers
Suggested Age: 0-4 Years
Parent and child class.

Combining fun, music and learning this weekly 45 minute morning class (taught over a 15 week semester) is for babies and toddlers with their parent/ guardian/ minder. Class day and time to be confirmed.

‘Cara’ Pre-Instrumental Programme
Suggested Age: 4-7 Years

We highly recommend this class as the first step of music tuition for any child aged 4 – 6 years (Junior and Senior Infants level). This class has been designed to provide a musical foundation, introducing children to many elements including rhythm, tempo, melody, pitch, dynamics and more! Cara stage 3 can be run if necessary.

Starter Keyboard Programme
(Suggested Age: 7-9 Years

We have created a new starter programme that will give you a introduction to the instrument. These small group classes will take place at a fixed time.

Show Class
Suggested Age: 8-18 Years

This is designed for all actors, singers and dancers who may have formerly taken Speech and drama groups, Junior choir or Musical theatre ensemble. Do note there is still the option to follow exam syllabus in Drama or Musical Theatre via our 1-1 lessons. This group will rehearse and stage a show within the academic year.

Music Theory Grinds
2nd/3rd Year, 5th/6th Year

Please call to discuss how we can best support you in preparation for the Junior cycle or leaving certificate exams.

One-to-One Lessons
Suggested Age: 9-99 Years

30 minute weekly lesson taught over a 15 week semester.

Through our one-to-one instrument and vocal tuition, our experienced and qualified tutors will prepare students for graded exams or a mutually agreed curriculum.

In addition to weekly one-to-one tuition we encourage students to participate in our Rockwell Community Orchestra, giving all our students the opportunity to hone highly sought after ensemble, performance and social music experience. Orchestra will be held on Saturday afternoons.
