OUR 2021 – 2022 OFFERING

30 min weekly lesson taught over a 15 week semester for €325 per semester.

Our highly experienced and qualified tutors will prepare students for graded exams or tailor make lessons depending on your requirements.

In addition to weekly one-to-one tuition students are requested to participate in our Rockwell Orchestra or RMA Choir (Junior and Senior) – giving all our students the opportunity to hone highly sort after ensemble, performance and social music experience. Orchestra and choir will be held every second Saturday afternoon throughout the semester.

Whilst there is no tuition fee for the Orchestra and Choirs a €50 subscription is required to cover insurance and other facilitation costs.

For younger students:
Prior to starting with a specific instrument, we highly recommend students complete minimum of one semester of our Cara Pre-Instrumental programme.

Parent & Toddler Music

Combining fun, music and learning this weekly 45 minute morning class (taught over a 15 week semester) is for babies and toddlers with their parent/ guardian/ minder. Class day and time to be confirmed. . €150 per semester.

 

Stringbabies

Founded and taught throughout the UK, we are delighted to be the first Irish music school to be offering the Stringbabies programme. This programme enables young children, from the age of 3, to learn string instruments. Class day and time to be confirmed. . €150 per semester.

 

Cara Pre-Instrumental Class

We highly recommend and strongly encourage this class as the first step of music tuition for any child aged 4 – 6 years (Junior and Senior Infants class). This class has been designed to provide a solid musical foundation as it introduces children to many elements including rhythm, tempo, melody, pitch, dynamics and more! This is a weekly 45 minute class taught in the afternoons over a 15 week semester. Days to be confirmed. €150 per semester.

No previous experience is required, these small group classes are designed and taught as introductory classes and do not cover an exam syllabus. It is a cost effective and social way of introducing a student to learning an instrument.

We have a limited bank of instruments and, depending on the size of instrument required, can offer instrument rental through RMA.

Our beginner group lessons include:

  • Beginner Keyboard
  • Beginner Guitar
  • Beginner Strings

€200 per semester.

Our drama programmes include:

  • One-to-One lessons in Acting/Audition Preparation (€325 per semester)
  • Speech & Drama Group (€200 per semester)
  • Personal Development Group Class: You will learn skills such as CV preparation, interview skills and develop confidence in public speaking. These classes are most suitable for Transition Year Students. (€200 per semester) 

We are delighted to provide a new dance programme at RMA in line with the Irish Board of Dance Performance aiming to complement our music and drama programmes. Saturday morning weekly 45 minute classes (taught over a 15 week semester). €200 per semester.

  • 3rd – 6th class

Senior Dance

Music Appreciation / Social Music

This weekly 45 minute morning class is an informal and social way to enjoy music. Whether it’s having a sing-a-long, dusting off a previously loved instrument, learning some interesting music facts or just enjoying some musical company with others! This could suit those in active retirement, stay at home parents, etc. €200 per semester.
